A Decade of Service to Our Family of Customers.
Messrs Cheong Kam Tho & Co (0864AF), a Chartered Accountant Firm was formed by the sole-practitioner, Mr.Cheong Kam Tho in July 1992. Our Firm is registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, a statutory body incorporated by the Acts of Parliament, Malaysia.

Mr. Cheong started his accountancy articleships  with an international Chartered Accountant  Firm and gained his experiences in auditing services (4years), taxation(2 years), company secretarial services (1 year) and receivers and managers (1 year) during his eight years tenure with this firm.

His exposure on these branches of professional services had given Mr. Cheong opportunities to understand in-depth  of various businesses operations in diverse industries e.g. banking, insurance, plantation, stock-broking, transportation, property development, civil & mechanical engineering, hotel, food & beverages, gaming and mining.
Besides the normal statutory compliance works, Mr. Cheong had also assisted in the process of restructuring companies, initial public offer, tax planning and advisory and due diligence audit.

Prior in setting up Messrs Cheong Kam Tho & Co., Mr. Cheong had worked in commercial enterprises involved in diverse industries e.g. manufacturing and trading of steel, large manufacturing base of textiles, property development, civil & mechanical engineering, transportation, financial services, hotel and leisure services. His last engagement was as Group Financial Accountant in a large diversified group of companies.

Our Firm’s current staff strength is approximately 20 staff and most of them had acquired multiple skills after being exposed to various combinations of services such as auditing, taxation, accounting and information technology.
